Emergency contraception

This is basically a late type of contraception. Ethically its a contested area, with some considering it to be abortion, since the embryo has been formed, rather than most contraception which prevents fertilisation.

Morning After pill

This is basically a mega progesterone pill, that reduces risk of pregnancy, as long as it is taken within 12 hours of sex. Although effective, it only has a 75% success rate.

IUD

Inserting an IUD within 5 days of implantation will also prevent the majority of pregnancies.
