Bundle branch block

Definition

Cessation of appropriate electrical conduction down either the left of right bundle branch.

Pathophysiology

• LBBB: aortic stenosis, dilated cardiomyopathy, MI, CAD.
• RBBB: atrial septal defect, PE, MI
