- Blood vessel ulcers
- Venous - 80% of leg ulcers are venous. Painless, shallow with an irregular border
- Arterial - rubbish blood flow due to atherosclerosis
- Diabetic neuropathy - you lose feeling in your feet, start walking on plugs and then get a hole/ulcer in your foot.
- Cancer - these will generally start out a crazy moles. Important because some moles will kill you. Especially, if they're angry.
- Trauma - either being hit or a pressure sore
- Rarely, vasculitis
