- Neuro - MS, spinal injury (including prolapsed disc)
- Bladder - damage due to trauma or surgery
- Prostate - cancer, BPH, prostatitis
- Urethra - structural abnormality
- Drugs - anticholinergics, NSAIDs, stimulants (MDMA, speed)
