Clinical Features

Epigastric pain boring through to back, relieved by sitting forward or hot water bottles. Also: steatorrhoea; raised glucose; uncontrolled diabetes.

Investigations

Management

Analgesia (possibly coeliac plexus block); lipase; diet - no alcohol, low fat; surgery - if unremitting pain, pancreatectomy/pancreaticojejunectomy.
